Where to buy digital painting dvds?

I am looking to buy some digital painting dvs, but the ones at gnomon workshop seem to be not what im looking for, any other sites sell training dvds specifically what I am looking for is digital painting techniques in photoshop (landscapes, character painting with environments) Mainly the character/environment types. Thanks, would be cool to get a response asap.

Also has anyone bought the dylan cole landscape painting/cityscape painting and like it? Does it show ACTUAL digital painting or is it more based on importing pictures (I hate doing that)

You should take a look at the galleries that are next to the DVD´s description (at the right side of the screen). They have some screenshots of the DVD ("in process").
For landscape you should probably look in the Analog DVD´s:
- Characters/Creatures
- Enviroments
- Matte Painting

The matte painting DVD´s are supposed to help with matte painting (and that includes integrating photos).
I have never seen the Gnomon DVD´s so I can´t say anything about their quality but the painting DVD´s are not for beginers IIRC so you should know how to use PS and some basics about painting.
It´s more about the DVD creator´s techniques and theories IIRC.

Edit: The DVD show actual painting. That are professionals who can´t survuve just by manipulating photos and they have a background in art/design so they should know what they are doing. So the DVD´s should be more than just cheap PS tricks and PS filter-abuse.

I have the Ryan Church DVD on painting matte finished vehicles and I think it is quite nice. ALOT can be learned just from watching someone work...and talk about it as they work. I don't know about the other Gnomon DVDs but I was planning on picking up one of the enviroment art ones in the near future, so I'll let ya know.
