Thank you, yeah your right I do have some trouble with purportions when it comes to certian things. Oh and my favorite character from Naruto is Gaara but I rarely draw him as he has a very strange face to draw.

I like the way they are executed, nice coloring and such, but i dont think the anime style is really popular here :P.

Dont get me wrong, i watch anime myself but seeing that most anime/manga art is pretty similiar, it dont get much credit here, but keep on drawing, you definatly have skills.

Draw from reference and real life and try to evolve into a more personal style.
I myself started to draw manga as well and still do from time to time, but i feel my stuff is getting more evolved.

I will watch this sketchbook because its interesting to watch the evolution.
And take my critics as a tip, i dont want to be rude in any way, just give you a tip :)

I kinda thought that anime styles wouldnt be to popular here. Well my art is still changing (you would be surpised to see how much my art changed in the last year).

I kinda do have a personal title but it's still not really refined as of right now, like you said it evolves.

Oh I forgot to mention, the top and bottom drawings are of orginal characters of mine.

those are f***ing awesome, i havent seen most of them in GT.

and what Lazy told you is absolutely true.

im starting to get interested in Anime drawings now, for some reason. i might start drawing Anime whenever i have time.

also, i think you should lighting up on the colouring, there fine but sometimes its kinda hard to see the details on the characters body, other then that amazing work dude.

Ok, some nice ideas here. But...

The first one (which i think is your best) has no obvious light source making it look flat. The creases seem to have no impact upon the line of the fabric. I think you should push the shadows, like on his left arm up his sleave. Remeber at any angle other than from the top fingers overlap.

Something on the foreshortening of the arm makes it look off, i think it's the material. More importantly the shading doesn't match across the piece.

Third one reads like you used the blur tool in PS. And the mouth shouldn't go that wide, it's not anatomically accurate. The white highlights are too harsh without a dark shading tone.

I wont lie too you. 4th one has a suspiciously different style. If you used reference, please name it.

On the 5th, the construction of the head is wrong. The neck is set too far back from the shoulders, doesn't read like it connects. Your use of background colours detracts from your sensitive shadign technique. Don't be afraid to push your values. Confidence is the key.

6 is better but again the head is off. Try drawing from life. Eyes are always halfway down the head. Even in Manga. Infact usually more so, foreheads tend to be bigger. The tomb stone bends, because the lower half goes in a different direction.

Nice work. Manga work isn't all too loved on this forum due to people stylising before they know the basics, pretty much like walking before they run. Stamping your name across your work hurts your composition, if you must, then try more inventive ways of working it in.

Welcome to the community. Keep drawing.

I apologise in for my bad spelling, i didn't re read, i gotta go to bed.

I know that purportions were off on some parts of my drawings when it comes to the faces (most notiably the mouth on third one and the fourhead on the fith one). Also, I had not refrence for the fourth one, it was all drawn from memory. BTW, I only watermark my art because it has been stolen before and I put my DA username on them because of that.

Well anyways, new drawing of Gaara from Naruto.
