how long were you given for the figure drawings? Anyway, I think you could work more on measuring cuz like in some of the drawings, the torso feel a bit long. ALso, try to focus on getting an accurate contour. you seem to get that "inner line" for the gesture though. Can you post a longer study next time?

the figure drawings were 5 to 10 min each. The drawings which have the long torso's, they are the ones of the female correct? She really does have a long torso compared to her legs, so whenever i look at the drawings, they look disproportionate to me as well.

There are countour lines in my gesutre for the lay in. In longer studies i would have rendered out the figure with more surface contour....hopefully as the months pass i will become faster and more efficiant with that. I will see if i have a longer pose in my folio.

man theres a great gestural quality to these, would love to see some more.

in almost all of them the torso area seems a tad long, but it only looks odd in one or two. would love to see your process.

the torsos do seem long....but you see it also....thats the key to learning!
