I am surprised that no one has mentioned corpse bride as a new movie on here. I just saw it Friday and was really happy with it. Good movie, actually reminds me of how movies used to be....movies cause they were movies....not cause they were trying so hard to be something else.

If you have the opportunity to go and see this movie do it. You won't be dissappointed.

Overall good movie. Very good visuals, love the lighitng in the bar scene and how they so drstically portray the world of the dead and living. It was a short movie, simple story. But simple in this case was good, it's easy to follow.

Hey yeah, I saw it this weekend too.

I really liked it. I dug how the land of the living was all done in graytones and everyone there were essentially "unlively" and how everyone in the underworld was filled with life and was brightly colored. Kind of a nice notion that once we die, we become filled with life. Typical Tim Burton idea where those on the inside of society are freaks and those on the outside are actually normal.

cool movie.

Awesome character design, amazing animation, a simple archetypal story, more eye candy than you can shake a stick at... It was a cool movie to watch. I've heard a few people complain that it lacked character development, but I thought it did what was needed in service of the story. I could've done without the musical numbers though. At least Nightmare Before Christmas had genuinely catchy tunes. Why do animated movies from America always have to include obligitory musical numbers? Why? Whhhhhhhyyyyy?!??!

Still a great movie, though. Good thing too, because Tim Burton needed to hit the mark after his past several films. If you haven't seen it, go ahead, it's worth the dough.
