Hey guys .. i dont think ive posted images here since the beginning of conceptart.org
SOme of you might know me from other forums some might not. My name is Benjamin PLouffe im 19 years old and im just about done my first year of classical animation at sheridan college in toronto

Anyways this is the type of stuff i do in character design , layout and concept art classes. No crits neeeded these assigments has been submitted to teachers hehe.. already got all the crits and bad comments about these peices thanx =)

You get into the animation program right out of high school? Or did you go through fundamentals first?

I've only ever known one person I think could get in straight from high school (I've also known many who tried and did not get in, despite the fact that they were extremely good)

Anyway, very nicely done!

thanx for the comments.. Actually i didnt apply to animation out of highschool. Unfortunatly i didnt know what the program was about. I just took art fundies because i truly didnt know what i wanted to do. I actually applied to illustration and made it in out of highschool but i didnt take it. Just wanted to explore my options.

There are a few people in first year right now that got into the program directly from highschool but they have a lack of experience and skills with perspective , life drawing ect..
