I Think Your Work Is Great ( For What Its Worth ! )
And I'm Not Suprised That You're Not Looking For Work At The
Moment .
There's A Crispness , And Balance To The Work That I Looked At
On Your Site . . . And Also A Diversity Of Styles And Moods ,
But Still The Same Level Of Craftmanship And Artistic Sensibility .
Some Of The Work Looks Like You Use 3d Software , And Then Maybe Take Renders Into Photoshop Or Similar Software ?

Once Again , Great Work . . . Thanks For Posting It .

Thanks for your thoughts, I really appreciate them.

My approach when doing a matte painting is to first research that environment. This could include digital images or a movie reference from the Director. I second, layout my scene with lines and work out a composition that directs a viewers eye to a point of interest. While in photoshop I paint with textures instead of digital paint. I would take a digital photo of some models that I have laying around my studio. Then use these photographic images to distort and manipulate those images to form the scene I'm trying to convey. There are no 3D elements in my matte paintings.

Thanks
