chris, this is danny. glad to see some of your photoshop stuff. i agree with tin, post some of your animation stuff on here. in relation to what you posted, i think you should avoid adding so many highlights. when you add highlights all over the figure, it makes the light source look really strange and the figure look artificial. i suggest that you concentrate your lights and darks to more general areas and not have them scattered around the figure. i like the character design.. . hes pretty bad ass.

i appreciate the comments, u guys are exactly right
i think ill invest some time in it again as well as my other pieces ( as soon as my design is done)
as far as the highlights go, i absolutely agree, i thought i had figured out how to make it look right so i got happy and put them all over the body cuz it looked cool hhahaha its so wrong

p.s. about the animation stuff, i didnt know if people wpuld dig that on conceptart

hahah i guess your right mark, not really a samurai, well maybe not a conventional samurai, guess its my own take on it
