i'll just post sketches here as I do them. I suck at drawing so constructive criticism would be good so I can get better. forget my other thread.

Im sure you have heard this before, and it wont be the last time, I have heard this many times already, pick up some anatomy books, check out some of the references on the site, CA has a BITCHN reference section, Checkout magic mans sketchbook and he will give you the deal. Anatomy builds characters, even Guns have anatomy. But hell have fun with it sorry if I seem too serious.

I'm sure you've heard this before, and it wont be the last time, I can draw anything if I have a reference sitting in front of me. It doesn't help me for when I don't have a reference. Maybe it helps you but it doesn't help me.
I came here so I could get advice besides "use a reference". I'm tired of being limited to only using a reference. Advice like that is not advice at all to me.
And I know all about guns too

I look at your first drawings and then these paintings and i can't believe the same person did them. Keep working on your drawings--you will work out proportions there. The paintings, especially the first, are a great handling of color/light. Continue working from reference, and reading books that deal with anatomy.

thats what happens when I use a reference. And that is specifically why I do not want people to say "oh just use a reference".
