View Full Version : DSG 878: Creature/Scene: 4-LEGGED BEAST W/ MULTI-LAYERED HEAD/MOUTH GUARDS ENTRANCE

[ When I say "multi-layered" I'm picturing something with a head that is almost layered like a cake... ]
[ Perhaps with multiple eyes or mouths... strangely hinged, piled on top of one another, bizarre and surreal. ]
[ The entrance might be a castle or a cave... a grand gate or a simple hole in the ground. ]
[ You can add people to the pic if you like. ]
[ Hell, you can add an axe-wielding fembot for all i care; Just be sure to include the main topic as the focus of your pic. ]

Quick concept.
@Eriboss: Cute dog? This sure is an ugly layered beast. I like the rough background, too.

Dr. Insano's desert bunker is guarded by his bizzare creation - The Quadracanisdon, a genetically mutated freak of a beast. Of course, there is also an axe wielding fembot, one of his most succesful experiments.
painter, 30, second attempt after crash. Meh.

The passage leading to the three entrances to the City of Dis is being protected by mysterious, incredibly powerful creatures.

[Kinda like this one, but I didn't get to spend anywhere near the amount of time I wanted to on the creature, spent all the time on the background. Have to get to sleep for school tomorrow.]

Like the goldfish who gets bigger when moved to a larger bowl, the scour beast eventually grows to completely fill the passage. . .

20-odd minutes for the sketch, and another 40-odd in PS.

-a protector demon that guards the gates to the kingdom of heaven from unsuspecting damned souls.
all the while, it shreaks a chorus of pain from it's multiple mouths as heaven's
brilliance & light slowly eat away at it's flesh over the millenia.

Hello all
I'm new in DSG. I had to join here, because it is a cool place :}
My drawing takes me a lot of time. First I spent about 2 houers sketching ideas and than a couple houers drawing this one.
I suppose that I didn't understand this thread correctly (I transleted it using dictionery ). I though that it is about a monster, and this monster's mouth is also an entrance full of Guards :)

I guess it is a matter of opinion but I rather like most of his stuff, and besides that these aren't about skill, more about the concept.
