You know, for the lack of clarity this is suprisingly refreshing, almost stylistic. But you need to mix your colors to be able to draw out the image. That's the first step. Otherwise, try completing a piece fully for me so I can give you a more in depth crit.

Seems like a mish mash of brush strokes, maybe some detailed linework would help this out.

Spend some more time on the picture, especially if it is your first time, before trying to get crits. I'd say this is probably going to be moved to the sketches section.
