Having been turned away at the border by an old friend, Ismael knew that the chickens won't last much longer in the heat, and that he would come home to a hungry family with no money and no chickens. Poor Ismael had a heart attack on the way home, and all but one bird were crushed when the truck flipped.
painter, 30ish, no ref, the story is based on an Israeli short film.

I think everyones reading it wrong, it says all but one bird escapes and everyones doing it the other way around with only one bird escaping :P

but fantastic work anyways, particularly like your piece goran, the chicken looks a lot like something from chicken run as someone pointed out though.

Maybe so if the turn was what caused it to turn over... I like your chicken, looks pretty crazed about it's freedom.
