i decided to paint out a quick line drawing i did. it was kind of tough because it was side-on so i tried to push the depth as best i could. i'm sort of not sure what to do for the background so i submit it to you for input.

The ear-feelers get lost in a muddy grey half light. Maybe pust the highs and the darks a bit further, and perhaps put some more light on the back of his head (the second light source).
