Life drawing help please

I am doing life drawing class... and i really having this hard time gettin the gesture down... i just having a hard time gettin the hard time puttin him/her on the floor the weight... also some style that the teacher is teaching... i wonder if anyone can post some of there gesture and understanding how it should be done ?
