This is the first piece to a series of "Junkbots" I'm working on. More to come.

Great piece!
My only crit is that the head is a little hard to read, and that its left arm could pop out a bit more from the leg behind it.
Other than that - fantastic. Let's see it in color!

The rendering on each individual detail is nice, but it's a bit hard to read the major shapes / anatomy of the robot with all those details.

As all have said, the complexity is both this piece's strong and weak point.
I love the nearly gravity-defying bits everywhere. Face looks like Bri from "Appleseed."
Prom's right about overall abstract forms, and I think the idea of a bunch of disparate parts (if they are truly "junk" bots) would be better conveyed if there was more variation in texture, as well. Everything looks like it's made out of the same, smooth material.
But this piece is still quite nice, and it sure looks like it took a while! Nice work!

MindCandyMan- thanks! Im now working on bot02 and bot03, I wonder how they'll turn out.
franz- This piece is done in pencil. I wanted to use charcoal for the darker parts but I find charcoal smudges too easily and doesnt work very well together with pencil so I just use 6B for all the darker parts.
Muttonhead- I think I went a little overboard with the left arm too. Its should have been slightly brighter and less "parts".
Prometheus|ANJ- I need to remember that, I always go crazy with all the details.
Atomick- hey I think I'll try that out giving it more variation in textures and materials etc. I'll see how it turns out. Thanks for the suggestions!
