Space combat is extremly dangerous, and most decent folk will surrender as soon as the "jolly roger" beacon lights up.
This space exploration vessel thought it could outrun the pirates, and has paid dearly in life for it's actions.
Now all that's left is for the pirates to scavenge what remains, in hope of finding food, fuel, equipment, and maybe a few live people willing to join rather than die.
painter, I think somewhere in the 30 min vicinity.

After an entire night of battle, the large tradeship finally gives in and descends into the desert planet below. The pirate ships circle around like vultures, seeking for a good spot to enter the ship and reap the rewards.

I spent to much time on my pirates that I didn't give myself enough time for the ship... but I made the pirates ship kinda cool (it's the big skull in the background :D ) Anyways, I think I am getting better with my tablet and photoshop but still got lots to learn.

I will try to stay tuned for the DSGs again from now on. Just too much fun and good training involved... :-)

Mykro-I like the pirates alot but the floor is killing me. I'm not sure if your trying to do a styalized off angeled tiles, and if so I'm sorry for preaching here about how to make them look square. Looking at it a bit more hard I do think I am putting my foot in my mouth because one of the tiles is done right in the front but anyways. Basically it looks like your trying to do 1 point perspective and 2 point perspective at the same time. one point perspective which is what your working with here the tiles would be horizontal just like the wall is horizontal at its base. There are times when you can have 3 points of perspective but those times it will look like a fish eyed lens and doesn't apply here :dad:
atomicsushi-That so damb hard core. :x

Fal$eProfit - I think the perspective is right (the vertical lines could use a vanishing point though, instead it looks slanted), but the pirates are placed incorrectly. The one in the foreground is "floating" atleast 2-3 feet off the ground.
Mykro - hope you don't mind a quick paintover. Didn't use the 3rd perspective point though... that would require the characters to be skewed.
