My Chance to Rant

Well, I was just beginning to post some of my work and what happens, my stupid scanner breaks. So I'm gonna sit down in this lounge and shoot my mouth off until a solution can be found for the whole scanner issue.

Hmm, now that I am sitting down to type, all of my thoughts dump out of my ears until my head is as empty as-- uh --well-- emptier than it usually is.

I am supposed to be researching ancient roman history at the moment for school, but that poor excuse for a search engine google won't bring up any worthwhile sites. At least no sites that have any info on the legions that I didn't already know. Blast them all!

I don't want to talk about school, I must find something more entertaining if I ever hope to get any reply posts.

Perhaps it is time for me to venture forth into the other forums and start commenting on the artistic genious of all you out there. Please I would love to engage in coversation with you. Do not hesitate to post, but beware. Once you get me started, you will be trying to shut me up before I'm done.

A final note. Unfortunatly due to the type of culture we have, there are those out there who feel the need to discuss immoral topics and use foul language. If you are kind enough to post in this thread, please also be kind enough to refrain from doing either of them. It is hard enough to avoid that type of stuff from day to day without having to deal with it here.

PS I don't however, have any issue with violence, within reason. I am a weapon nut and am obsessed with all guns and swords and knives and spears and axes and ...

Try a better search engine than Google.
Try www.dogpile.com or www.metacrawler.com

Also try adjusting your search keywords.

You are the only one with "scanner issues," as some of us have spare scanners, and others do the majority of their work on PC's, and do not need to scan it most of it...sorry for your scanner loss.

I did the homework, found lots of great Roman army stuff, fixed my scanner, and my dog is finally learning how use a leash. (how to correctly use a leash that is)

Of course they don't cause cancer. I have read every book that I have found in two different library systems on the subject. I love books! Books are equal with food and water on the list of must-haves. Without books the world would make about as much sense as picasso's paintings. Do I make myself clear? In other words (don't take offense this is meant jokingly) HOW DARE YOU ACCUSE ME OF AVOIDING BOOKS!!!

By the way guys, homework is not bad. Well actually it is bad. I mean how could leaving your house every day from around 7 am to around 4 pm, then having hours of homework in the evenings be good? The school system is so busy educating people that they won't let them live. I'm lucky. I'm one of those dangerously unsocialized homeschoolers, so I get to stay at home every day doing my assignments till they are done and excepting chores, have the rest of the day off. No homework. :teeth:

I believe in tolerance and acceptance among all drawing instruments alike. Including erasers.
We must search to coexist in peace with all the white, green, blue and red rubbers, and blu-tack as well, even if they do give us a hard time every now and then. I think all this erazer pencilizing is a work of hate and fear. All these erasers trying to fit into those little plastic cases, trying to be like pencils and pens, it reminds me of Michael Jackson. Does history really need to repeat itself?

We must stop this act of instrument discrimination before we create yet another aberration, product of our own arrogance and inability to embrace tool diversity. Erasers must be able to walk proud without fear of this kind of hate.

Sharpners on the other hand are evil and should all burn.
