It would help if you added some description of what it's supposed to be and what parts you are hoping to improve. I see a skeleton chief holding a purple doll on a weird background and obscure foreground...

The skeleton looks rad- but it's almost impossible to see anyhting but the skeleton and the feathers. What is the foreground? And more importnatly- What's the idea behind the picture?

The blurry flag background is okay, but the grasses in the front look very crude and hurriedly painted, as well as the color being strange.

It looks as if the skeleton is holding a doll, rather than a baby, and either way, it doens't make much visual sense. The Concept has potential, but is very confusing at present.

silly, pixeldragoon:well basically the background is the us flag, foreground tall grass, thats susposed to be a dead baby in his arms covered with a small pox infected blanket..anyways its symbolic of the genocide of the native americans
madster:your right about the baby looking like a doll..i should have got some referance for that.. i also think i need to make him much more pale looking
mike:yep, everyone is pretty much right about the grass.. it was painted in a hurry and the colors are strange as for the sharpness of the indian he is much more sharp in the original i took a slightly blurry photo..but even so i can see where i can pump it up in areas as far as sharpness goes.. thanks again eveyone for your input

The red cloth coming from the head dress is making the image look very flat, as it does not seem to be affected by the arm (which I assume is closer to us than the head). If would probably add some depth were there to be a counterpart cloth on the other side (it looks like we should be able to see it).

The baby isn't rendered to anywhere near the quality of the skeleton and head dress.

Isn't this an old image? I recall seeing some time ago...

dogfoood:good call on the cloth, I also think i should try a differant hue of red, it is way to similar to the red in the flag..yes this is an older post ,i never got much critique last time.this is a great forum :yayca:
