Some of these sketches were produced while attending Traffic School. Learned a thing or 2 about how to draw in a dark room with a pen:-)

Hi Jason,
it's funny to see your sketches, they are so different from your final work! you should post more often!

I love the hands and feet of the lizard man, you can really see how they move and work.
I also like the brain/tentacle guy at the bottom.

I like the last pic the best. That worm dude kinda looks like my cat.

I think sketching in pen is always a good way to work.

Wow, thanks for the responses everyone.

cos--> I really dig your work as well. Your work has some great forms and shapes... which I am trying to work on. I think I need to shade my stuff more often as well.

rimwalker-->Ah yeah! Glad that you noticed that. Thanks. I should post a larger picture of that one because I did sit down and really try to figure out how the creature would move...the feet especially. The brain/tenticle guy is a MindFlyer. D&D creature. Coolest creature around.

bruticus--> I agree about the pen. It's weird how different tool will bring out different drawings. You know? With a marker or pen, I tend to draw less lines. With pencil, I tend to draw tons of lines(finding the shapes).

R_M--> You are definitely right. I have many different art styles ...which is scary. With art, I love every aspect of it. So I try to do everything...drawing, concepts, paintings, sculptures, photos, 3d, animation. A jack of all trades, but masterless of one.

Crunch--> Glad that you liked the faces. During meetings at work, I am always drawing them. Finding different shapes and expressions. I will make sure to post more often. Especially when I return from a meeting.
