Nice start. Im not really an expert at portraits but you seem to have every thing in preportion which is a good thing. When i draw faces i build it up with shading bits at a time. Maybe you could start with the eyes thats what i find most helpful. I also try not to go dark to soon, i shade light and build up the tones 1-10. 1 being white and 10 being darkest, hope that helps. If it dont thats the best i can give lol. :teeth: Keep it up, love to see how it turns out!

I should have reduced that saturated pink, but I'm short on time...

The overlay says it faster:
* The features are rotated counter clockwise on the face from the left eye, which is still too far in, and too large for the face.
* the forhead/hairline is way too low, although correctly oriented.
* the left side of the face is too thin.
* the upper lip is too fat (the pointy lipstick aside), and the lower lip is too wide at the corners.
Hope this helps!

I can say from going back and forth once, the two lines that onnect the lips and nostrils is WAY off. It should be obvious! I think you should study facial anatomy and rules for a little while- Because that one is a given. Practice more- It works.
EDIT: DID YOU EVEN REDRAW IT???

Seems you have not bothered with Madster's accurate observation. Not much point in others giving further input.
