Truthfully I see this leading to spam by newcomers (and no, I'm not a new comer, I'm just not a big poster here lol)

I personally would rather see a rank based system based on a user to user level (like "Karma" on some forums) - basically every member over x period of time since sign up, gets x points per 24 hours to spend on other people, you can only spend so much a day on one person. Basically you give positive points for good, useful, entertaining, whatever posts, and negative points for unhelpful, useless, spamful, etc. posts. (basically giving people +scores and -scores ... and that system would actually help moderators because they'd know how the community is reacting to a certain member's posts if an issue ever arises)

I know that this post will be lost in the sargasso of euphoric bleating, but the little post count to the right should be a good counter of how many times someone has posted. Perhaps if the ranking only included those posts in the "meat" sections (mainly the art side, but also the community activities), it would prompt folks to comment and critique some of the art?

I also vote for double xp for crits, and say, 10-20 xp for a completely finished and well presented piece in the finally finished section. But that might be a lot of work for the poor mods. :)
