Super slick stuff man. Talk about large array of subjects.
Very clean and smooth, prim & proper.
Nice studies, they have alot of pop and Peter is class A.
"More I say!" ..and the crowds did nod in agreement.

Btw the arm and the leg above and under Peter, is somehow odd. Looks mechanical...

awesome cross hatching dude- guess the only thing i'm gona crit is the strong man on the first pic lower right hand corner (his bulging muscle is rather odd) but other than that it all looks sweet.

Very very nice studies. What book/books are you using for reference? Do tell. My favorite is the guy with the big lips in the first post. Just wanna kiss 'em!... Well, maybe not :).
Your drawings show a very solid foundation, like someone who knows their anatomy. Which you obviously do. Great stuff. Please post some finished illustrations as well when you get a chance.

Len: I try to follow with every stroke the form and the muscle direction. Itīs hard to explain with my poor english, but itīs just practice!
getata & poly: Thanks, man!
reeves & Gunbu: Yes, I use Bridgman and (my favourite) Gottfried Bammes, and Muscle Mags :), and Gunbu, no, my knowledge of anatomy is still VERY poor, I just copy a lot to learn more. But I feel that Iīm improving and that motivates me.
Here are new sketches:

*gasps* what a great thread! I love the look of your work, very refined and confident. I'd like to see some dynamic poses to see how you handle foreshortening. I'm interested in seeing how you would keep the form flowing in the depths of space. Keep up the excellent work!

Quote: SKETCHING
"Sketch quickly with light strokes on your pad
(which you should always have with you),
and when it is full, start another, never rubbing
out but keeping all carefully, because the forms
and motions of the bodies are so infinitely
various that they cannot possibly be retained in
the memory. Therefore preserve your sketches, for
they are your assistants and your masters."

oh my.
Robulus, you've done two things to me in the past 5 minutes reading through this thread.
a) make me register here just to write this post
b) inspire me to get off my butt and sketch more, and definately devote more time toward specific studies.
mind blowing. cheers mate! :chug:

neeno: Maybe you will be a little disapointed if you see the work I normally do. I mostly do "funny Stuff" for ad agencies (illustrations for ads, concepts for toys and premiumsand so on). Iīve posted some covers that I have done for the german MAD magazine here in Sketches and Doodles in the Toon Creatures Thread.
Payback: Thankīs a lot man!
Here are new sketches, above left is a fast selfportrait (I was really tired).
