Help I need advice on a Film Camera

I have been interested in getting a film camera for a while now and i used a canon rebel 35mm and i wanted to know if it is a good camera or a bad one. i dont exactly remember which model but i think it was this one:
Canon Rebel 2000 (300) 35mm SLR Camera

Any input or advice would be helpfull. thanks

I don't know anything about that specific camera, but, I use a pentax superprogram (its 20 years old so I can't really suggest that you buy one) and I love it. I know alot of my friends say that its best if you can avoid plastic cameras, however, apparently its hard to find metal ones still. I"m sorry if this post was not helpful at all.
