Done using photoshop and 3 brushes C&C encouraged it's still a work in progress and I know it needs background. took about 1-2 hours, so far....

Looks good, but the hat looks too small and off to far to one side. It doesn't look like it be fitting on his head.

I made hat a bit bigger touched up a few spots and added a color burn, kinda going to a book cover style.

* His eyes are too small, misshapen, and squinty looking.
* The mouth and the bottom of the nose are level, while everything else, including the head, is at an angle.
* The underskin swellings on his right cheek and the right side of his neck are not small and warty as you have painted them.
* You've drawn his left shoulder sloped too low.

Overall, though, this is not a bad practice piece at all. You've done a fair job of conveying the massiveness of Hoss.
