I just finished up this one. I did it as an exercise... it was done with no preconceived idea behind it and the name was something that lept into my brain while trying to get an eyelash outta my eye. There you go and here you are-

Stale, this is awesome. Is ther anyway you can show us how you did it? or is that secret? I can see more than one face in the background, and to regurgitate; the texturre is awesome.

I love the overlapping triangles in the fingers, arms, and light. Awesomely outrageous composition.

Joel,
Fantastic work! I see multiple techniques that all comes together very nicely.

Superb!
Stalecracker, this is a most excellent piece. I'm a fan of your stuff... you definitely travel that line between realism and cartooniness that is so hard sometimes, and so difficult to sell!
This piece is more on the serious/realism side, but regardless is a very nice piece, well concieved.

Couple of things about your website.
I think your art in general is quite dark, so maby the website should have a darker layout too. Another thing is that the site seems too big. My resolution is 1152x864 and still it feels inpractically big.
What can I say. The painting is unbeleviabe.

Hi guys- Thanks for the comments!
Hawk- when it's a poster, you got one! Thanks, by the way...
Artin- I agree about my site. The goon who built it decided to stop working on it. SO, I am trying to find someone to finish it out.

your work's great -- I saw the website awhile ago trolling for inspiration and I thought the design was clunky too; I think it actually gets in the way of the work
definitely redesign, you should show this stuff in all it's glory (and more sketches!)
if you're looking for ideas I have a few that you can disregard at your leisure, but since it's off topic I'll leave it for another thread, or feel free to contact me off list
