Nice stuff! Love the texture. I have to say I like the one of the back of the head the best, but the torso is quite lovely also. Has a really renaissance feel to it.

My only crit would be that they all seem to be lacking a sense of depth to varying degrees. Especially the heads. Curly haired guy is pretty good there for the most part. I'd say the profile and the 3/4 view on the left would be the ones that show the least depth. Just keep practicing! I'd say you know where you're going.

thanks tully, I wasn't really going for depth, actually I had to keep reeling in my urge to render, thats why much of it looks half done, they're studies which I wanted to get done as quickly as possible.

Sweet as always Mansy, besides from the top of the head thing, mind the size of the ears a bit more. Except for the profile looking up they tend to be a tad too small. I can see that they might follow the rules of placement (donno what i just said really, my english sucks), but you can still give them a little push in size. It will give more balance to the overall look of the face. The boners are cool and the style is beautiful (as you know :P ) and i really feel like drawing when i see this stuff!

Yeah nice drunken jesus, that looks tight.....i'd have to agree that the ears on at least the one are kinda small...seems small on the rearview head as well....it also looks like your placing them a tad low ? as the two on the left and the rearview one, the tops seem to be placed near the cheekbone and they should be up closer to the brow ridge (according to burne hogarth, and I wouldn't correct him on anything :P )

That arm bones study is also very tight....I know shit about bones so all I can say is it looks tight :P

Hey, you say you use graphite on copy paper.....so are you giving it that conte look in photoshop ? just curious....

Superb! The only problem I can see is that Jesus' bellybutton seem kinda malaligned. Other than that everything else is just neat tidy and well defined.

Shatterdome, yes I do all the hue shifts in photoshop, unphotoshopped, they are black and white, but only because I don't know where to get nice toned paper like Mentler draws on, and the scanner I have is shit which does not pick up color well and so the blacks are the ones it picks up th best.
