Small Request

I've just saved over 200 bucks for my tattoo I planned to get before the summer...but didn't because of my lack of funds. Well, as it turns out, I couldn't get it anyway because I still don't know how exactly I want it to look. So to all you artists out there: could you, would you draw me a simple design? Here's my basic idea...

Since I am the third Fred in my family, I want an old english type 'F' and next to it (or connecting, not sure) a roman numeral 3 (III). I want it on my shoulder (maybe a little below my shoulder), so I don't want it too big, but noticable. I want it solid black too (I honestly don't think tattoos in color look good on black people like me). Anyway, thanks anyone who tries to make it. I think I'll be a frequent poster here...though I can't draw for my life.

Dont get your panties up in a bunch. Think about it, if a stranger introduced himself to you on your doorstep, and started to talk about this work he wanted done, and said that it would be cool if you did it, but he couldnt pay you, how would you react?


And after all, time an artist spend on a non-paying job is time he could have spent on a paying job.

I think Magic Man is pretty cool. And i would make that stranger at the frontdoor wash my floor and clean my toilet, then maybe think about it for a second and say no. But thats only because i have done a few tattoos in my time, they looked cool, but i hate that kind of work hehe.

Thanks Slash and Broken Spirit. I know where Magic Man is coming from. I'm a regular on another forum and newbies come and ask us to translate this and scanslate that or when the next release coming out. Annoying. But I'm a newbie so I don't know how EVERYTHING is run here.

Yeah I know I could buy other stuff with $200 but I have wanted this tattoo since the 8th grade...don't know. I guess it'd be neat because I WILL BE THE LAST FRED in my family. It stops here lol.

FreddyFoxxx, best thing to do is to design it yourself, discussing the idea with your tattoo artist. Take your time, find someone you're comfortable with, discuss the idea with her/him. There was a thread about tattoos some days ago and someone said that something on paper looks different than on your body.
Here's something you can do to see if you're really going to want having it: take a picture of yourself, of the area you want the tattoo on. In photoshop or any other similar program, take the tattoo design and paste it on the part of your body you would tattoo it on. Print that image. Hang it somewhere you will see it every day, and look at it every day. If by 6 months or so you still want it, I guess thats a good sign to get it : P
And if you get bored instead, good thing you didn't get it!
There are a lot of body modifications sites out there, and then there is the site on the topic, from which I got the idea mentioned before (I wont put the url here, but you can figure out which one it is, its probably the largest site on the subject, or you can pm me about it).
