Hi there,
I've been doing some searching, and most everyone agrees that the Robert Beverly Hale books are a must buy.

My question is, which one should i start with? Is it best to get one at a time or both at the same time?

The books i'm refereing to are:

Drawing Lessons from the Great Masters (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0823014010/qid=1125511055/sr=8-1/ref=pd_bbs_1/103-4031315-5759046?v=glance&s=books&n=507846)
and

Master Class in Figure Drawing (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0823030148/qid=1125511055/sr=8-2/ref=pd_bbs_2/103-4031315-5759046?v=glance&s=books&n=507846)

Thanks,

George

That is the order <> read the copy in both of those books 5 of 6 times

Get your hands on Hale's video's if you can and watch them a dozen times.

Get Richers Artistic Anatomy and read the copy and draw every plate in the book.

That would be a good start!

Awesome, thanks everyone. I've gone ahead and ordered Drawing Lessons. Once I finish it, i'll get the Master Class in Figure Drawing book. I've also got some vilppu dvd's (and book) and the Richer and Bridgeman anatomy books to round it all out.

Thanks again for the input.

God Bless,
George
