Well, I've been on here for awhile, and I am finally going to attempt to put a small sketchbook together. I don't have a tablet yet, so everything is the good ol' pencil or ballpoint pen on paper or vellum. Let me know what you think. Half of these were done at work while looking at movie websites, so you may halfway recognize some of the people (but maybe not...rendering isn't that great).

Thanks Flaskpost, I appreciate any comments. Hopefully I'll get off of my ass and draw some more. I got addicted to a online RPG, Adventure Quest. Anyone play it? It's like a drug: I know I shouldn't do it, but I have to.

New Stuff. I may have picked up a Frito-Lay contract for drawing Chester Cheetah for promotional things. I know it's not that sexy of a job, but it'll put that green in my back pocket. Here are a couple sketches I did. And the scanner I use sucks!

Hey man, nice SB start. :D
Well, first of all I like to recomend you to have a look at some anatomy books, that's always a good start. Allso try drawing stuff from life like people, animals, building, etc..
Other than that it's just drawing in general that cary you forward.
Btw, loved the eastwood painting. :)

Tigermilk: Yeah, I need to stop drawing so many freakin' muscles on everyone. There's alot I need to work on....especially hair and women in general
Lover: Thanks for the input! I'll be honest: I really can't draw hands unless they are rendered. I try and draw them comic book style and I can't. ARGH!
wakazou: Thanks for the encouragement!

Any suggestions for scanning? These are losing so much detail.

Here's a couple sketches I did this weekend while watching football. I never never draw women, so I thought I'd try. My wife has magazines galore, so I referenced from one.
