Haha! Nice guess mate, Jokin!
Erm... well, if i get a certain part wrong, i keep goin & goin over with fine-liner till I get it right, you get me ?
When I draw, I try my best to work QUICK & FAST but also keep the DETAIL! I know it seems quite hard for other people to do, but I think I have mastered it :teeth: :P
& also no I didnt use pencil at all, am very good with fine-liner & trust it alot! hehe. no pencil needed at all! & no pre-sketches haha. Wait till you see the rest of my work! & also my 3D Alien Queen (I used clay)
Also.... wait till you see my building drawings.

uh.. no.. actually you havent.. not even close... if t wasnt for the heads i'd have no idea what i was looking at.. your lines are really rushed and sloppy, and they have no form to them.. there's absolutely no sensitivity to your marks, it all seems like a flat jumble of swirls and scribbles.. the highlighter seems to have no purpose other than to add some yellow marks to the drawing.. you need to learn how to develop form with your pen, and it's entirely possible.. study up on the rules of light and shadow, learn about halftones, core shadows, reflected light, etc, then your work will be 10 times better.. does it sound like im being harsh? good. you need it.. you have a looooong way to go..

Main Loop, tell you what then ... you sit next to me when i draw ok!
anyway, I dnt care if my lines are rushed & sloppy, my work still looks good. (If you listened to me I said Quick & Fast)
& they don't have form to them .... erm ok what ever mate!
Everyone draws different & anyway I wasnt looking for light & shadow, after all they were just sketches.
yeh i suppose u sound like your being harsh but then again, I know i can draw better than this, which u haven't seen!
I know your trying to help but next time don't be so harsh about people's work, even when it looks good.

listen all i can to say is, every 1 is good in different things, example photography, graphics, fine art, 3D etc etc etc ...
That's all am saying. & also every 1 works in different techniques etc etc etc.. using different meduims etc.
Every 1 stick at things which you are good at & keep practicing, even the way u draw for example just improve a little each time & dnt be put off by what some people say, because other people work in a different ways to other people
bye am goin

...I can't believe that after all the hype, you took down the pictures because of a few crits that to be totally honest were justified.
Are you looking to improve, or are you looking for ass pats?

hello, don't bother certain people around here. they tend to be very harsh against newcomers.
I'd really like to see your stuff!

Don't make excuses, if there's one thing I cannot stand its excuse making.
You posted the pics yesterday, leave them up, its not like you can accidentally slip on a bar of soap, fall on your chair, fall on the mouse, accidentally type in the site's address, enter the correct forum by pure chance, click your own thread and edit the post so that the images are no longer viewable.
If you want to improve like you say, leave the pictures up, learn to take criticism. A lot of beginner artists love to think their work is better than it is - harsh? Reality often is, if you seriously want to get better - and I'd vouch that you do, then leave them up, don't pussy out because some people said you need to improve since you do. Most people no matter their skill level need to improve.
Enough with the self proclaimed "mastery", more posting of artwork, people can see for themselves if you have mastered whatever it is you feel you've mastered, or not.
Don't make people waste their time giving you crits and looking in your thread if you're too afraid to even show the pics.
You're 21 years old, learn to have a thicker skin, if you're running around telling everyone that your art is "really good", the next step is to prove it.
Setting up yourself like that is grounds for a big fall, my advice is that everytime you feel like posting, refrain from it until you have another piece of art to show, thats what I do because it forces your hand to draw.
Don't make me feel like I've wasted my time.

I didnt mean it like that! you dont get me at all, you dont know me & you don't know what has happened. By the way I have leanred to take criticism.
Also 1 more thing .. Magic Man says Don't make excuses, if there's one thing I cannot stand its excuse making. erm ... what was that ? dnt make excuses ?? I did not!!!!! How do you know what has happened about me or whats happened in my life ? Come on, you tell me if you think am making excuses up.
Seriously, you got some cheek! Don't start saying that I am a lier. I am a very trustworthy person in fact, oh I forgot you wouldn't know nothing about that would u?
I just want to be alone right now ok.
By the way am not 21.
also I am not a beginner artist. Thats also another thing, which you got Wrong

wow I'm sooooo much more confident now.
a few days ago I was worried about being an 18 yr old with novice art skills.
and no driver's licesne.
I was freaking out, 18, no job, wants to be an artist but hasn't even graduated from college yet.
I was contemplating homelessness, geeze
I work hard, but there's so many people better than me. being a member of CA had opened my eyes to that long ago
I now know there are far worse things than being a novice at 18
I'm so happy that someone who is older than me is someone I can look down on. *(sarcasm)
:} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :} :}
time to practice some more
my class is now displaying live models, I can't wait to get better.
oh and to the person who started this thread:
lose your ego and practice more. you are the most ignorant noob I have seen on this forum
the other locked threads at least had a shred of dignity and grace. you on the other hand chickened out and removed your pics.
