phatlip, these are really well done. congrats on the mountains, and the fog on the second is great.

assuming they're not mattes, and not just backgrounds, i'd like to suggest adding more to the second one. the sci-fi building suggests some sort of entrance (for some sort of vehicle perhaps?) or a balcony (for people to look out on?), for example. maybe add some lord looking down on his serfs in the fields?

either way, they all look great. the third is my favourite.

they are all painted in photoshop (no photo manipulation)

the desert pic is handpainted being as close as matte painting as possible.

the other two are more illustration pics.


mR.anGel - hahaha....thanks, no they are not pics but i am glad you think they are.

Yaseck - yeah i would love to. My friends keep telling me that but i got alot more work to do before becoming one...MORE PAINTINGS.

Severith - yes they are all paitnings. Alot more on the way.

soupface - i have been thinking about adding more to the entrance. a balcony sounds good.
