im not particularly fond of the composition. Showing the whole head would be much better.
Technically, it looks good.

as for the composition, im planning two more of these, which will be mounted together, gridlike. so i wanted close ups of all four ^^.

The nose seem very short relative to the distance between the eyes.

the whites of the eyes are usually about the value of the skin. If you pop them out so much, as in the value of your highlight, they look like aliens....next time don't make them have such a high value, try and observe it more closely for yourself.

the nose for the first pic looks too short to me, or is it a baby?

I hear ya, but since the composition is so tight and all up in those eyes, maybe it was intentional to paint them white to draw even more attention to it, and bring it forward....I dunno, it's an abstract thing!
