Pinkish Orc

I was inspired by all the great orc paintings everyone's been doing (Especially John Mueller's post), so I thought I would do one as well. Instead of going with the normal green flesh I went with what you see here.

He was a lot of fun to paint and is a character I'd like to revisit at some point.

Damn, Bobo! As the others have already said, that one step closer to realism has made this dude all the scarier. I love the perspective gags with the eyes and lips...ewww, that lip color...

The teeth fall a bit flat, but that's only because the rest of his head is so nicely rendered!

Teeth and gums just don't measure up... Otherwise, an excellent piece. Extremely good rendering, though his nose and brow seem to suggest such width that his sunken eyes cannot see a good thirty degree arc directly in front of him...

the way you painted his clothes and skin makes it look just like one of your texture maps! now is this 512 by 512?
Only crit is his teeth as others have said.His lips look like his mouth should be open anyway...

i like how you handled the skin texturing overall. it's cool, and refreshing. i like the pink skin very much, makes him feel a bit more alive and real. nice design.
