where can i get the best stock photos?

hey just wondering what the best stock photo site is in peoples experience? at the moment im after mostly environmental/landscape shots, and i guess i may bite the bullet and start paying for my reference. so yeah, any suggestions, throw em my way.

.. oh yeah and if anyone knows of any genuinely good stock resources that are royalty and payment free then let me know also :)

Hey man...
The ones I know of are :
Getty Images (http://creative.gettyimages.com) Acclaim Images (http://www.acclaimimages.com/)
and
Corbis (http://pro.corbis.com/default.aspx)
These are all images you pay for- but they have a huge selection. I can't say I've ever used any of these companies. Sometimes i like to browse through their sites - and the photos tend to be geared towards graphic designers. I feel illustrators have different needs some instances, so this may not help at all. Hope it does though!
