A very impressive sculpt, but I think it would be more impressive if it was full body.

Hey everyone. New user/first post. I recently finished work on a Yoda resin kit and I'm posting him around to get any comments or critiques anyone would care to leave. Thanks for takin' the time!

turnus this is sooooo gooooooooooooooooooooooooood
but what is the thing on his lower body?

Thanks! That thing is just a base. I know, I know. I've been getting that reaction from some people. I'm not so much into full figures as I'm into busts right now, esp. busts with arms. I think if I had cut his body down just a bit more it wouldn't look as weird to people. Or maybe, if I had gone into more detail or decor for the base. Oh well. I've managed to sell a few, and it's a learning experience for the next one, right?

Really well done! The general structure is dead on, texture looks nice as well. Was this done in super sculptey?
Te visual problem with the base is because of his height with the robe from the back it looks as if his legs are there.

Looks great. Textures forms, and likeness are on point. Why not the whole figure? Feet would have been better than the base. Otherwise awesome job.

Looks good. But from my POV, he looks a bit like Anthony Hopkins. :al: :am: :aa: :ao:!!!
