here's a poster i did for a friends fledgling non-profit.

what do ya think?

I'm not a big fan of the lettering myself but I was pleased with the illustration and they were very happy with it.

typo not good.
Picture good. It is sure a highlight between other advertising posters.(eye-catcher)
One thing i dont like is that you only played with the events name... if you dont read the very small text you dont undertand what it is all about. Could be a theater or an modernart-event. One instrument or something could help to make the subject more clear. But if they are happy with it... why not!

There are some very good things going on with the drawing, although the coposition could use some work. However, you come pretty close to ruining it with the coloring job. The color choices are awful and the technique just looks sloppy and half-assed. I think it would be far better if you just left it B&W.
