Hi man
Nice start! I like where you are going with the colors. Some small crits other than the legs: Her arm isnt looking very relaxed - its too straight down killling the pose a bit. Also her breasts needs some attention - kinda big and sloppy at the moment. I take it you want her to be a chick? The face is the best part so far - but decide fast on your lightsourse and work it from there. Theres no need to have shadows on both sides of the nose. Using shadow on one side and soft highlight on the other is an easy way to descripe the lightsourse without much effort. I would remove what looks like line work on the nose. About the legs: why not just look for reference to fix them? Nothing wrong in that. Should be easy to find a pose close to this. If not make her into a mermaid hehe. Good luck man. Keep at it.

Drawing with a mouse is so painful. Beautiful work, especialy when you consider your using a mouse.

I'd highly recommend against using a mouse, you'll develope RSI and that will put you out of using your hand for any kind of drawing for a while, just get out a pencil and sketch and save up for a wacom.

Heh gotta agree with Magic on that one. I used a mouse for four months and some times my hand was killing me! Didnt stop me from drawing though. :rendered: But yeah, save up money or just buy a cheap tablet to start with. And meanwhile practice drawing like a madman so when the time comes to do the tabletmagic you will have less problems solving your problems and more time to paint!

Hey Fellah ! I agree with you I knew about the hand too but forgot to mention in the first post I tried and tried without reference then I gave up and used myself >:D Good points about the shadows and lightning source its sometimes hard but makes the coolest results when you did it right but again with that too REFERENCE !!!!

I liked the breasts myself but changed them since you called them big and sloppy :[ (some men likes them thick...) I had no other choice after all than to use myself for reference which is not always too exciting since I m not the bestest model in the world and NO Im not going to make her into mermaid no matter how tempting that might be, I have noticed that in many preraphaelite women paintings what makes thew hole body of the woman come out nicely are the exposed toes and legs they act as a frame for and plays important rule besides are somehow nice to draw and paint when you get them right (if its a good day)

Wierdteaparty, yes cant couldnt wait for my graphic tablet to arrive before trying Photoshop IM so happy to have my own computer again I missed the cleaniness of digital painting <3

I know about the mouse beginning to feel some frustration already that should begin to refine this image ITS SO HARD but its good for quick sketches somehow like knifepainting method it is

I have put the reworked image below the first two version in my first post so that can see the comparison more well
