Aveline's Dad always told her she can do whatever she wants as long as she wants it enough... She has yet to order the engines, but so far the airliner she's building on the roof of her tree house is progressing nicely.

phaeton, very cool shading! Like a lot!
goran, baron, great pictures both - and nearly the same plane, too *g*
machzero, what do you mean, "using stuff you learned ten years ago"? I cant see any anatomy mistakes..
The actual buildprogress takes place in her head. I played around with some think-bubbles, but it didnt work out...
You know - fleeing the slums in a self-build plane, something like that...

Goran-Love the houses.
Machzero-U rule.
Dreckster-Keep 'em commin'
Cybot floor-? No girl, no plane. What's goin' on? Play the game.
Phaethon-My hat's off to you. Sorry I nicked your composition. It just seemed the right solution.
Rob
Sorry Cybot. You are correct. The gamma on my screen is out so yours just looks dark.

The girl is sitting on the roof of her shack. It's night, and it's the slums, so the scene is kind of dark. Please, look more than 5 seconds, if you have to comment.
And no, there is no plane. Why? She is "building" it in her head. Which you could have known, if you read my first sentence.
Oh, and your pic:
plane (check)
roof (check)
girl (check)
Everything there, thanks.

Intended as a very loose sketch, I cleaned it up somewhat after adding the girl, who is the best part of the image, I think. After a while, it turned into an exercise of 'make the girl stand out to the viewer'.

BaronVonWink Please read the cliche thread in the lounge (and forgive my lack of an accented e) :D
Can't give much more than asspats for a job well done, I especially like the lighting on the island.
What is that animal? a bison?
The girl could easily be mistaken for an adult, The plane is a little funky compared to the house

I apologize for the over use of ass pats. Maybe my prozac was working overtime that day? ;) From now on for every asspat you get a free crit'
to be honest I have no idea what that animal is, some sort of cattle? Girls/women are definitely one of my weak points. I defintely need to improve there- which is why i really should have focused on her figure more!
thanks for taking the time to comment.
