Use reference, and draw from life. If you did use reference for this one, i suggest you look at it again, and try to draw things as you see them, not how you think it is. Flipping the ref upside down might make this easier.

Well, the first thing that strikes me is the cropping here. I get the feeling you just started drawing with no real idea of what you were drawing, how big it was going to be, etc... and you ended up with the image running to the edges of your "paper."
This is easy to correct digitally, by resizing your canvas and such...BUT...I think you might wanna take a step away from the tablet for a minute. This is one of many fundamental problem solving skills that need to be learned, and while the computer can fix a lot of these mistakes for you by giving you tools like undo and unlimited paper size, it's often much better to learn these things traditionally first. You learn more from screwing up a drawing on paper than you would on a computer (by, for example, learning how to put the line down right the first time, rather than putting it down, not liking it, hitting ctrl-z(undo) and repeating).
By all means continue to play and experiment on the computer, but all of your serious learning at this point should be offline, on paper.
The one bit of advice I'll give you now though is learn to plan your drawings better. Have an idea of what you're going to draw and where it will fit on the paper. Make small preliminary sketches of your drawing to figure it out. You'll quickly realize if your figure is going to go off the page or if you're going to leave too much white/dead space in an area, etc... and hopefully won't end up with too many more images cropped like this with lots of dead space (either on paper or on the computer.)
Good luck with your classes!

@Slash,
Thanks for posting, I didnt use a ref this was without planning at all... just drew what I felt like:) I found some nice Anatomy books in school that Im gona try and borrow for reference, dun remember the title but I looked through it quickly and it seemed to be easy to read and look at, thanks again for posting!
@fukifino,
Your'e right, I just opened photshop and started drawing without any kind of plans on what I wanted to create, I had some simple outlines and I just wanted to try and make it look something like a humanoid without them.
Starting from today, I will be drawing mostly on paper with a pen, I just think that a tablet and computer is so much easier just becouse you can ctrl - z to undo instead of using a rubber or using a new paper.
But i'll listen to your suggestion and start drawing on paper and learn how to use the area to the fullest and doing small thumbnails to get the idea of how I want it to look! Thanks a bunch for posting:)
