Photographic Progress (New Photos Added 08/11/05)

I'll use this thread to add my photo's, and add further updates to my portfolio here. Criticism is welcome, prick comments aren't lol. I just began taking photographs this week [08/10/05] so it will be interesting to track my progress.

much better focus on this set. i like the 3rd one the best...very moody

...and of course, sharp focused water drops on flower petals are always eye pleasing. make you think.. "ooOOoOoOo" hehe.

Does your camera have slow sync flash options? if it does I would screw around with it. Nice composition on the first one f you have aperture priority settings i would have tried that it could have given a better quality photo. All in all nice compostion, but this theme does get monotonous after a while. Good work :yayca:

in your second post of images the flower picture and the hall below it are quite nice!

seing as you're calling yourself quite a rookie is it safe to assume you've never learned any of the rules of photography?

your assumptions are correct heh. My mom had an old Canon AE-1, I picked it up a couple months ago and started taking pics, really got into it but hated waiting to develop my photos so i went DSLR.

Very nice work though since you are working with digital you should try playing around with color levels and contrast for more depth to your photos.
