Well Im sure you get a lot of newcomers around here...
But I would like some critiques and the best place is where the best hang out :D .
Most of these I have no intention of finishing, but I do feel that critiques will help any future art. I do hope to make a living in Art/3d Animation. In fact... I move to florida to attend Ringling for 3d Animation in August.
The first picture I didn't spend a whole lot of time on. I really just wanted to get a concept down... I have craploads of ideas running through my head. I had sort of a Jules Verne and pseudo Industrial revolution look in my head. I dont know if it came out or not :p.

Obviously there is no mostly no shading etc =|
And the breasts look odd... (I need those life drawing classes at Ringling :D)
The second drawing I spent a little more time on doing some crappy coloring of the head and shoulders =|
A big problem of mine is costume design... This guys clothes/armor isnt exactly practical but I think it turned out pretty well...

The third is a mecha/robot thingy. In fact hes the reason I found this site. I showed it to a guy online and he wondered if it was inspired by some contest here about steam powered things. I think this departs the most from the look I wanted to achieve... It doesnt look very Industrial revolutionish... =(
I did spend some time coloring the head/body of the mecha which looks pretty good I suppose.
