its FINALLY FINISHED!!
www.neighborhoodwatchthefilm.com
i just recently did this website, its my first attempt actually.....doing a site for someone other than myself.
here's my personal website: www.complete2.com
we need as much publicity as possible to help sell this movie.
so if you guys could check it out, show your friends, pass it on, that would be awsome.
thanks for your time

Ello there, I like the site and I wanna see the movie :) but there are a couple of things that bug me about it
1) I don't like the way parts of the background images suddenly get chopped off when the rest of the image fades out.
2) The techy loading bar with its uber small, trendy pixle font break the continuity of the sites design. From the site I gather the movie has a 1950's feel/theme. You don't have to do a bar shaped loading bar :) so something more aproprit like the dial of a radio could work, a drop of blood that runs down the screen or even just a black screen with a sound that gets louder (footsteps, a heart beat or breathing) - i believe a small wav file would load in no time and could be looped.
3) Why not do the entire site in flash? It would let you do some nice transitions between 'pages' - nothing crazy, a simple fade out and in would work nicely. Each section could also be loaded dynamicly so users dont have to download the whole thing in one big chunk (sorry if you already know this - ive got not idea what your abilities are :bashful: )
thats about it...sites very atmospheric, got me interested in the movie =0)

Don't get your knickers all in a bunch. I didn't move it, but I'll tell you why I would have.
(1) All threads started in Finally Finished have to include an image. Since you can't exactly include an entire html page, that pretty much precludes site designs. "Check out my site" posts go in the lounge. Besides this, CA is focused primarily on production design and illustration, not graphic design and coding.
(2) One of your primary reasons for posting this is to drum up publicity for the film, and the appropriate place for that is here.
