Very pretty, I like it.
You handled the patterning in the border very nicely where the circle meshes with the square. You might change the gemstones so that they all look like the light comes from the same direction.
The weakest part of this picture is the figure itself which is a little more cartoonish than the setting. It kinda' reminds me of an old Disney cartoon like Snow White where the backgrounds were painted rather realistically and then these simple cartoons were dancing around out front. Yours isn't anywhere near as drastic as that, but there does appear to be a difference in the level of finish between the figure and the background.

good work.. i think the background male figure in the bathtub picture looks a little like a dog-man. mostly becasue of the shading undernose is quite a bit stronger than the rest of the face.

but its pretty cool. the maiden looks good too.
