LOST - no major spoilers please.

Actually I've been watching more TV these days since I'm back home in Singapore and have NO MONEY to go out and hang around town. (Yeah haven't been paid). Been following 24 and LOST quite religiously.

Kinda surprised no one brought this series up on the forums yet.

Anyway Cable just finished its weekend marathon run of LOST season 1. 5 episodes per weekend. All I can say is, so far its got me hooked. They packaged things really well and leave you straws to grasp here and there so to make sure you're coming back for more. And as I finish the last few episodes and correlate them to the season 2 rumours I heard...there are a lot of obvious plot developments here and there to lead you from season 1 to 2.

I love this show. I started watching in the beginning and I've been hooked ever since. Honestly though, in the beginning I almost quit watching because it moves so sloooooooow. The hour long time slot is filled with 35-40 minutes of show and the rest is filled with commercials. I was on the ABC Lost message boards for months reading theories of the plot. I think the writers need to do some side-plot wrap-ups early in the next season to keep the interest. There are some really cool websites about it online.

Kate is unbelieveably gorgeous. Hurley (fat guy) is without a doubt, the coolest and funniest character in the cast list :teeth:

I actually REALLY dislike both Sawyer and Charlie. Jack, Sayid and Locke are probably the real main cast along with Kate. The rest are just there for a tan :teeth:

If anyone noticed Michelle Rodriguez appearing in the 2nd last episode.......she doesn't appear for no reason. :D

Yeah, M-Rod is in next season's episodes. You should really check out ABC's message boards for LOST. They're great.

I think Sawyer will end up being a likable, good character next season. He redeemed himself when he told Jack about his dad. You're right about someone knowing Kate. It was under the "Famous People You've Met" thread

Yup, agree about Lost being a great show to get into. Especially when it seemed that there were only going to be more reality tv shows.

Kate character - very hot. Anyone seen the 1 - 800 - date commercial she did? I think it was an older one but it started playing again when Lost got popular. I'm very jealous of Presence!

What I want to find out is, what's the deal with the Aussie girl's baby?! Also what's up with the Locke character and what he knows about the island?

I've hooked a few of my friends on the show now.

When does season 2 start anyways?

Was watching spiderman 2 the other day and i recognised that korean guy Jin as one of Ocks assistents in the fusion scene. Funny to hear him speak english for a change.

Hope Sawyers not dead and that Charlie stays off the heroin.

Anyway Daniel Dae Kim (Jin) doesn't speak much korean before acting in LOST. He got a refresher course mostly from his Co-Star Kim Yujin (Sun). He's also got a recurring role on 24 as agent "Tom Baker" (confused yet?).

Alas it is true, she has been beyond busy and is really looking forward to reactions from the beginning of the second season. Lol, it is awesome to hear everyone agrees on her looks, but trust me boys, if you actually met her you would agree her looks come second to her brains.

So do you give her crap about that 1-800 commercial? How exactly do you know her? I hope it's not one of those "well, I bumped into her at a restaurant and she smiled at me" kind of thing. I know people in Los Angeles that give me that crap all the time.

I just noticed Michelle Rodriguez on the cast for Season 2? :O OK, so we have Michelle, Evangeline and Emelie...damn that's a hot cast! :D (OK, and Yunjin's pretty hot too).

Hayes, I don't know what it is but our grad class has had especially enormous fortune in terms of the entertainment industry. But, I do have to say that because most of us have come from small town roots they have all kept a very level head about their careers.

Eva, especially, is a great example of this. Lost was a complete shot in the dark for her, she only had about 12 weeks of formal actor training and went for the audition. And, that kids, is how it works. You show up, someone does or does not like your work and you move either forwards or sideways.

Oh, and she was also Ms. Hawaiian Tropic BC. :teeth:
