deviantART woes

Knowing my luck I'll likely be shouted down for even being a part of devART, as I've seen certain areas where the place is spat upon by former users. As yet I'm still not sure what any of you CA users actually use in this respect. Anyway, I'm seeking to broaden my horizons in where I post my works, hence my very happy discovery of this very site, in order to seek enlightenment in both concept art and digital design. This is because my own website and some pretty well-ignored dA pages aren't really doing me any good at getting much-needed feedback. I was recently self-blogging about my own dismay with dA of late but it did strike me that I know of nowhere else like it with such a reach and open atmosphere to it - has anyone found anywhere that's equally good that you can recommend to me? I'm sorta in over my head here.

Fair enuffski, when it comes to posting concept art I already know this place rocks now, but what about other art? As I said I tend to do some design stuff but have yet to see any communities, or at least, open ones that I could have a similar rapport with.

we have alot more then just "concept art" posted here. Admittedly we do have more of an orientation towards the illustration type stuff and less towards lets say, graphic design, but i daresay you could still get away with it, most of the people that post here arent acctually concept artists. However if that still doesnt suit you, eatpoo.com seems to be more open towards all kinds of art, ive seen a quiet a bit of design stuff there. But say anything stupid or post incredibly shitty work and theyl flush you and tear ya a new one.

Sinnyo, you mentioned that you do design work. I joined a site called, VisualEditors.com a few months back, you may like it. It's not as active as conceptart but you can get some really good feedback from a lot of good designers. Try it out.
