hey BC i remember this piece from WIP --thought it was coming along really nicely. now that its finished my eyes go straight to teh foreground figures in blue-- unfortunatley either because of the size or level of sharpness or both i cant really make out whats happening. i can see figures in the lower left--but they blend righth into the mountain side. this piece has great atmosphere--can we see a bigger version?

Thanks everybody!

tyboogie: The figures in the front have gotten really mixed reviews. People love 'em or hate 'em. I'm leaning towards knocking htem back alittle. The idea was to have the foreground figures pop ( hence the blue ), but I think maybe they POPED instead of poped.

joel, KayCustomz and Zeravla: Most times I start off with a sketch. The level of finish on it depends on how devoloped the image is in my head.
This one was done completely in PS ( a little bit in Painter ). i started off by blocking in the fore, middle and background on seperate layers and went on painting from there.

There's a larger vesion here. It's @ half the rez of the original ( which was 300 DPI / 8.5 X 5 in. )
It's a BIG ASS download though.
