It has been a very hot summer (with the exception of the past few days after a cold front moved in). This pic is of the ruminants of Hurricane Dennis giving us a little rain that helped cool things off a little while. It was raining and the sun was shining at the same time also known as “The Devil Beating His Wife”. I adjusted the colors and brightness and got this look. The clouds did look that way though, just not as dark, or as blue.

Rain + heat + asphalt = steam. This one is also altered a bit on the colors.

The sun shinning on the rain droplets on the trees gave them this sparkling quality.

Just a dragonfly I ran into. This thing wasn't the least bit afraid of me. It let me take tons of pics of him before flying off.
