I haven't seen this flick as of yet, but I went to the website to gleam the story behind it. Aside for the special effects aspect of this movie, I've got low expectations for this flick. I think it was better when it was called "Short Circuit".

O_O Dude, is that ticket gold plated or something, or was that just a typo?

this movie was pretty bad overall... but i surprisingly found myself rather entertained through most of it.

i loved the jet designs and their engine sounds... and the dogfights were pretty cool. i also liked the idea of the re-fueling blimp.

so basically: acting was meh, story was meh, jessica biel was hot, effects were good, designs were good. 5/10.

5/10 sounds about on par ---- which is good, since I was in the mood for a crappy movie tonight .... Me and my gf had some good chuckles ------ it's always best when there's some large black woman speaking her mind in careless abandon - mmmmmmmmm hhmmmmm :afroboy:

The movie had great dogfights, and that's all i wanted ---- been quite a while since some good jet-fighter scenes were in a movie.
The designs were worth checking out (though, I donno why they never touched on the concept of how the things take-off and land vertically with no verticle thrusts)
The refueling blimp was the best design .... even if it was at an altitude where hydrogen would never be able to keep gallons and gallons of fuel floating....
neither would it be able to maintain any speed fast enough to refuel gliding jets..... (but I'm sure hollywood has some explenation as always)
flawed concept --- good design, and exploded really damn nice : ] ... same can be said for the film...

Is it just me or does Jamie Foxx not work as a hero type persona. He just seems too normal of a person. I thought his character in Colateral was more natural and realistic. JMO
