ok so let me introduce myself for a minute.... my name is joey(23) and i am currently in college just trying to finish out my basics. i entered college with the intention of majoring in graphic design, but after working in the field and getting bored of the same old bs i decided to claim "undecided" in school. while going for the graphic design major i realized two things, i didn't want to completely draw on a computer day in and day out & i didn't want to create bs labels/logos/etc, but what i wanted to do is get back to the core of art: traditional mediums/refining anatomy/etc...

here's where i am now.... i can't get enough of looking at others works and every day i catch myself on the internet for hours not only here but all over the net looking at works by the great masters and the amatuers of our little art world. anyhow i came to the conclusion that i want to get back into an art major, but i'm looking more into fine arts now.

anyhow this sketchbook is gonna be a challenge for me and it will also help me track my progress from my mediocre work into my future works. i got the idea from MADMAN on these forums and thought how great it would be to have others who are way more skilled then me come here and critique my work so i can progress.

this is my mission:
- i am going to draw daily
- i am going to atleast post a drawing every 2 days or weekly(undecided yet)
- i am going to get better damnit!
- anything else you think i need to do? if so please let me know!

hope you all enjoy.

PS: i am going to try and post some of my works here later tonight if not tomorrow for sure. i need alot of practice and i need to get back into the routine of drawing on a daily basis! later people. :bashful:
