Was just curious to see if anyone else heard about this game and what you guys thought of it,

As you can see there has been some obvious "inspiration" from Zelda WW
i guess its just a question of have they crossed the line in this case?, and the age old question of where the line should be for inspiration or even refrence.

I remember someone posting this on gamingage-forums some months ago ---- people were laughing their balls off at such a blatant rip.
rip-off or not, they still did a good job .... of pretty much captureing the WW aesthetic 100% --- so there's some obvious talent there, since it's not exactly easy to do.
But still, props to WW for establishing such a universal mix of anime and modern-western animation styles --- good to see it reaching out to other games ..... Korean mmorpg games... I hope nobody else dies playing this one :blah:
..... makes me wish for a true sucessor to WW, rather than the casual "Dammit, lets just give people the damn traditional fantasy crap they want..." ---- even if the new Zelda is lookin/playing really nicely.

Yeah your right, they did do a good job even if it isn't original, it seems they have really captured the style well.
I would like to see a WW style Zelda game again, i enjoyed it but only thing i probably would have changed, well added, would have been 1 or 2 more dungeons and maybe a bit less sailing, then i think it would have been a real gem
Yet further down the line i would like to see that, im one of those that wanted the traditional fantasy crap ever since OoT hinted at it.
Which reminds me gonna have to get a Twilight Princess thread started up here , did you get to play it? Is it more or less the same control system as WW.
cheers

I don't buy it as a rip personally.
A rip is directly using... this is just using another games visual style. I hope to hell there arn't copyrights on style. Besides that, I have seen Japanese drawings in this style before Windwaker ever came out.
So unless there is more going on here,
I just don't think Nintendo has any legal weight here.

Well, apart from the legality of it, it still seems cheap to me. The game, however, looks dynamite.

Yep, at E3 :D
Straight up buttery-smooth Zelda goodness : ]

drawings sure, but realtime 3d geomotry there isn't much that comes close to WW -- That's the actual style of WW, the 3d not what it's emulating --
I think Jet Grind Radio comes really damn close in it's own way --- the city environments are so well played : ]
