Of course it looks rough two weeks later... And my camera got confused about what to do with the canvas texture:

really nice. I like how you've used warm and cool hues to accentuate and recede certain areas like I've observed in lucian freud's work. I really like oil paintings with some areas of totally non-finish too. was this at a life-drawing class.. or private sitting?

Good job kress! I have to go right now, but look at those proportions man. The legs look reeeeaaaaallllyyyy long. check out his right leg. Its excruciatingly long!

Rohan - it was done in class, two sessions (longer than it should have been!). Glad you noticed and could even see the color
Jon - Thank you, it's a priviledge to have you see this, even if it is a "studyish" type of image. (BTW I think it's really cool that you participate in this forum, not to kiss your ass but you offer a beneficial opportunity for the rest of the artists, as I'm sure it benefits you)
Iwas - Maybe they're a little long but I think it works. He was a real lanky guy.
